São Tomé and Príncipe’s flag has green-yellow-green horizontal bands with a red triangle at the hoist and two black stars on the yellow band.
Meaning
The two black stars represent the two main islands, São Tomé and Príncipe. Green reflects vegetation and agriculture, yellow the tropical sun and cocoa wealth, red the independence struggle, and black the African people.
