How to Draw the El Salvador Flag: Official Proportions, Stripes & Center Emblem
Build an accurate El Salvador flag from its official 3.25 × 1.89 proportions, three equal horizontal bands and the correct centered emblem.

1 Start with the official proportions
Official Salvadoran guidance gives the national flag as 3.25 metres long by 1.89 metres high. Other sizes can be used as long as the same proportions and colors are preserved.
2 Divide the flag into three equal bands
Each horizontal stripe is one-third of the total height. The top and bottom bands are blue; the middle band is white.
3 Add the correct center device
Government and military versions carry the national coat of arms in the center of the white stripe. Non-government versions may instead carry the words “Dios, Unión, Libertad” in gold.
4 Example construction
For a 1000-pixel-wide flag, a proportional height is about 582 pixels. Divide that height into three bands of roughly 194 pixels each, then center the chosen emblem in the white band.
