Zimbabwe’s national flag has seven horizontal stripes in green, yellow, red and black, with a white triangle at the hoist containing a red star and the golden Zimbabwe Bird.

Meaning

Green represents agriculture, yellow mineral wealth, red the liberation struggle and black the majority population. The Zimbabwe Bird comes from stone carvings found at Great Zimbabwe and symbolises national heritage.
